Assign Documents to Employees

The following steps provide an easy method for assigning a document to employees:

  1. Open the HR section in the navigation panel and select Document Manager
  2. On the Documents Manager Page, you may assign documents from both the "Global Document Manager" and the "Document Manager" tables on this page.
  3. Find the document you wish to create an assignment for and click Assign
  4. A "New Assignment" popup window will appear.
    1. Click the "Acknowledge Type" dropdown to select either "Acknowledge" or "View Only" as the acknowledge type.
      1. "View Only" records when the employee assigned selects the "View" button on the assignment.
      2. "Acknowledge" requires the employee to press a button to acknowledge that they have read it which is not clickable until after the employee has viewed the document.
    2. Click the calendar icon button next to "Due Date" to select the due date for this assignment.
    3. Click the "Assign To" dropdown to select employees you would like this assignment to be created for. You may select as many or as few employees as you would like.
    4. Click Submit to complete the assignment creation
  5. This assignment will populate in the HR Existing Assignments table at the bottom of the page. You may edit and delete these assignments. You can also see which assigned employees have and have not completed this assignment.
